2023 was a significant year for Cub. We focused on improving our caravan and camper trailer range across the board with a significant refresh early in the year, and provided more options for families with the introduction of the Drifter GT. We also expanded our luxury hybrid caravan lineup with the addition of the L16 and H16. Finally, Cub returned to old ground with the release of our Cub Classic horse float, improving on our original design enabled by modern engineering and manufacturing.  

We at Cub are excited to reveal the latest model in our luxury hybrid caravan range, the H16 – our pop top caravan designed for streamlined travel in maximum comfort, price from only $94,990. Cub are 100% Aussie made and owned, and it’s been nearly a year since the launch of the C16, Cub’s premium luxury hybrid caravan. In the following months, Cub launched the L16, a lighter, more affordable cousin. We’ve continued to keep our eyes and ears on the trends of the caravan market, and it became obvious that next would be an even lighter, pop top caravan. Enter, the H16!

The Drifter has undeniably established itself as a highlight of the Cub range. Originally released into the Australian market in 2020, the Drifter is still the only Australian Made Double Fold camper available, seamlessly combining the comfort and space of a caravan with the functionality and off-road prowess of a camper trailer.

Since its initial release in 2016 as the only Australian Made Forward Fold Camper Trailer, the Cub Frontier fast became our most popular model and has held onto that title for a little over 5 years. It is, by far, the easiest forward fold on the market to set up and built to handle the toughest conditions the Outback can throw at it, so it’s no surprise that it has become the camper Cub is best known for.
