Cub Heritage

"In 1968, I joined Cub Trailers in Lakemba with my father, JK Fagan to start a factory to make 6x4 trailers. I was only 22 years of age at the time.

We grew the business quickly leading us to manufacture farm trailers, special builds for Government departments and horse floats, before we invented the very first camper trailer in 1969.

Our ethos then, remains today “build the best campers and caravans made for rugged exploration and 4x4 adventures.

Being a retired old manufacturer, I am very proud of Cub’s remarkable achievements. We are one of the only Australian caravan manufacturers to survive 57 years and are still growing"

Roger Fagan - Second Generation CUB

"From the 1950’s to 1970’s, there were around 40 manufacturers in the industry, but our family-owned business is one of the only ones around to this day.

Today, the third generation of the CUB family is revolutionising the business with a large investment in computerised, CNC and robotic machinery.

As a result, we have reduced costs and improved quality. We are the most complete manufacturer in the industry in Australia, and I’m proud that we treat our staff as family; hence, we have staff with over 30 years of service at CUB.

I’m sure my father would be proud of the excellent reputation of the Cub brand with our leading design, quality and resale value. When I see customers purchasing their third Cub, it puts a real smile on my face."
