Cub Camper 4 minute packdown!
We've always said that our Cub Campers camper trailer only takes 5 minutes to setup/pack down for a quick overnighter (don't unhitch or put out the awning) but we'd never actually timed it or taken a video before.
Well it turns out it only takes 4 minutes to pack up, and that was with a bloke coming over to chat with Nathan about the trailer halfway through (which is a pretty common occurrence!)

What is the correct way to reset your tent?
A brief Cub Campers how-to shows the tent reset: zip the door, detach bottom Velcro, roll up flaps, lower the slide bar, collapse the bows (rear → centre → front), then raise and lock them and refit corner poles. Finishing by pushing the slide bar to its stop and locking the adjuster re-tensions the canvas so the door zipper runs smoothly.

How do you season the canvas?
This short Cub Campers guide explains “seasoning” the canvas: set up the tent and awning, hose them down, let dry, and repeat - ideally 8–10 cycles - to help waterproof the fabric. For ongoing care, avoid solvents or detergents; if marked (e.g., bird droppings), clean gently with water and a soft brush.
CUB HANDY TIPS
How do you check the tyre pressure of your Cub?
A quick safety tip from Cub Campers: prevent flats and blowouts with basic maintenance - set pressures from cold and remember the sidewall figure is a maximum under max load, not your target. After ~100 km, check with a gauge while warm; if it’s within ±4 psi of your cold setting, you’re in the right range.

Cub Camper Trailer storage
Our recent change of vehicle has left us with a little less storage space than we had in the previous ute canopy, requiring a bit of an overhaul of storage between both the 4x4 and the camper trailer.
Fortunately our Cub Campers camper trailer has plenty of great storage space so we haven't had to compromise too much on the things we really wanted to keep.
