LUCKY BAY, CAPE LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK, WA
With idyllic white-sand beaches and turquoise water, Lucky Bay is the kind of beach that tourists would travel to secluded Asian islands to reach, and we have one right on our doorstep! Located around 50km from Esperance, Lucky Bay boasts the whitest sand in Australia and is the perfect spot for a back-to-basics beach holiday. Whether your interests involve hiking, fishing snorkeling swimming, or just lazing in the sun, Lucky Bay is a fantastic camping destination.
BROKEN HILL, NSW
While this entry is quite different to any of the other destinations weβve listed in the past, the town of Broken Hill in the NSW is definitely worth a visit if youβre heading through the outback. This old mining town is rich with history and art, and is close to loads of quirky attractions like the Mad Max Museum. There are a number of camping locations in and around the town so be sure to stop at Broken Hill when youβre on your next adventure.
YARRA VALLEY, VIC
If wine tasting is more your speed, Autumn is a fantastic time of year to visit Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. This season is harvest time and a great opportunity to to get involved with the local wine scene. There are loads of camping destinations in the region and as the weather starts to get a bit cooler, thereβs no better time to enjoy a tranquil adventure with some good wine, watching the sun go down over the stunning mountain ranges.
